Not everyone can be a supermodel but anyone can and should be a role model. It is so much more powerful! I’d really love to see a magazine cover one day where the title reads “Role Model of The Year” instead of the nonsense of who is “best dressed” or has “the hottest” this or that. I don’t watch TV or any form of media for that very reason. I don’t want to feed my mind that kind of junk food. And neither should you.
8 Rules for success
PART 1 – Work your Butt Off The most important rule of all. When my friends were out partying and having fun, I was studying at night and waking early to go to a full time job. When they were sleeping 8, 9, 10 hours I was up at 4am writing in my journal, reading and planning my day. When they were slouched on the couch with the TV remote in their hand, I was lacing up my runners to go for a jog. When they were out eating at McDonalds I was preparing dinner and lunch for the next day.
You Matter
Noah’s Secret to Staying Young
There is a statistic that scares many businesses. And it is this: 67% of customers never return to do business with a company because of the attitude of just one person. This scares companies with a poor culture. The ones that have no idea what to expect from their team. It should not scare us at MSA because we have an awesome culture of care and empathy. To me this statistic is an opportunity! Because it also tells us that we individually have the power to make a big difference in a customer’s life. Yes, you matter!
How is your memory?
It is a scientific fact that: Tomorrow you will only remember 60% of what happened to you today. By this day next week you will only have remembered 10%
Claim Your Greatness
It’s never too late to grow into the person you were born to be.
All actions we take are preceded by thoughts. In between the thought and the action is a decision. You need to be conscious that you are making decisions all day every day. What you eat, what you watch, what you read, how you speak, how you dress etc. One of the biggest choices and probably the most important is the choice of ‘blaming’ or ‘claiming’.
